.Net Developer

LOCATION:  Greater Chicagoland area near the Loop

 

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION: Our client, located in the Loop, is looking for a .NET Developer to build and extend business applications using the Microsoft stack, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML. In this role you will design, develop, and implement technical solutions for real-world business problems, so having an aptitude for and understanding of business applications is important. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, so having strong communication and interpersonal skills is essential for this position. This client is a small yet stable consulting firm with an excellent reputation for quality work within their client-base. They are growing and are a looking for another valued team member to join their family. This is an in office, no travel role.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop extensions for MS Dynamics 365 and construct workflows to automate business processes
  • Design and develop SQL queries to support reporting, integration, and other system needs
  • Collaborate with end-users to diagnose and resolve incidents
  • Analyze business processes, data, systems, and procedures to identify and create solutions
  • Determine solution feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with internal and external systems
  • Contribute to the process of turning functional business specifications into technical designs for new and enhanced systems

 

SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CRM
  • .NET, Visual Studio, SharePoint
  • JavaScript (front-end frameworks and vanilla), HTML/CSS
  • SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Report writer tools, particularly SSRS and Power BI
  • Source control (Git in particular)
